Best Bookish Bits: September 2019

THERE ARE ONLY THREE MONTHS LEFT OF THE YEAR!

September has passed, but it was a month of positive outcomes and plenty of books!

PicsArt_09-16-06.08.17.jpgMy September reads are as follows:

  • Immigrant from the Stars by Gail Kamer
  • Cinder by Marissa Meyer
  • Relic by Bronwyn Eley
  • Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
  • Cress by Marissa Meyer
  • Winter by Marissa Meyer
  • Heartstopper: Volume One by Alice Oseman
  • Heartstopper: Volume Two by Alice Oseman
  • Addict by Matt Doyle

Yep, that is NINE books! This was my first month studying again but I have managed to read more books this month than any previous month this year. Sure, two are graphic novels that took me around half an hour each, but I am still very impressed with myself. I also read the four main books in the Lunar Chronicles which I have been meaning to do for over a year, so that is a win too!

As for new additions to my bookish collection, there is a small list. A mixture of ARCs, purchases and gifts, these are the new additions to my shelves:

  • The Siberian Dilemma by Martin Cruz Smith
  • In the Clearing by J.P. Pomare
  • Dead Man Switch by Tara Moss
  • Wearing Paper Dresses by Anne Brinsden
  • Tunnel of Bones by Victoria Schwab
  • Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco
  • Starfell: Willow Moss and the Lost Day by Dominque Valente
  • Pages & Co: Tilly and the Lost Fairy Tales by Anna James
  • Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin
  • Frogkisser by Garth Nix
  • Otherworld by Jason Segel and Kirsten Miller
  • The Grace Keepers by Kirsty Logan
  • The Yearbook Committee by Sarah Ayoub
  • The Coldest Girl in Cold Town by Holly Black

My TBR is getting closer to crushing me, but overall I had a pretty good bookish September.
